Aleksandra Śliwińska(Ph.D/Poland)– dancer, performer, co-founder of Amareya Theatre. She has long-standing experience in various dance techniques, including contemporary dance, improvisation, contact improvisation, expressive dance, butoh and others. She started with a school dance group, and later joined the Teenage Dance Group FIGIEL in Połczyn Zdrój where she danced in the years 1992-1998, taking part in many performances such as The Nurse, Desire or Don Kichot adventures. Since 2003 she has participated in all Amareya’s collective productions and foreign projects such as Dream Regime and Ten ku Youran. In 2012 she created her first solo performance The Blind Lady where she explores difficult stories about women. Within Amareya Art Association's activities she realizes social, educational and theatrical projects with drug-addicts, the disabled and the blind.
